I think when you have characters with little description or are so cryptic in a book that gives you allowance to expand on the character in the movie, as long as it seems plausible for the character. I think it’s fine in this case. The trailer looks really cool and the characters seem more interesting now.

tbh i thought felix and demetri were fine in the book, but alsong as they havent changed practically everthing i’m fine with it
