I couldn't agree more with Victoria in every single bit she said for all questions.
In reply to kt I must say that books are always better than the film but definitely not for me with New Moon. The part without Edward was really long to read, as Chris said. I had to have my husband reading bits of the end to let me know that Edward was coming back, otherwise I would have stopped reading, while in the film the moment Jacob-Bella without Edward is not as painful and long and you definitely get to like Jacob much more than in the book thanks to the brilliant performance of Taylor, which really impressed me. Still Team Rob/Edward all the way!
Agree also with Victoria and kt in that Kristen was outstanding in New Moon, much better than in Twilight.

What was your biggest fear going into [opening] weekend?
i wasnt really afraid of any of it. i was sure from the trailers that i would love it and i did.

Did the negative reviews surprise you?
yes and no. i thought there should have been more accolades for the quality of the cinematography. i seriously think it rivals harry potter in its visual style. as for the rest of it... meh. they just dont get it. and thats ok. the people that needed to get it did and loved it. thats really all that matters... that and the giant profit that the movie pulled in the first weekend alone.

A lot of fans say they like the movie more than the book, that New Moon was their least favorite book in the series.
i think people that think this are generally more of a movie person than a book person in the first place. the book is ALWAYS better than the movie. i dont care what the subject is or how well the book was written. its just a fact.

What do you think is Taylor’s best scene?
i personally though the jumping into bellas room was a little tiny bit cheesy (please dont hate me) but the rest of that scene was great. the scene in the rain also still really sticks out for me as a great taylor/jacob moment.

Do you think Kristen evolved as an actor in this movie?
i dont think its an evolution from twilight, but rather more of having a better director. ive seen her in lots of other stuff and i think twilight is definitely in the lower range of her acting ability. new moon is more like the kristen i expected in twilight.

•What was your biggest fear going into [opening] weekend?
My fear was not getting a ticket to see the movie. I knew from watching all the preview's how amazing the movie was going to turn out : )

•Did the negative reviews surprise you?
Not really, there is always going to be negative reviews from people weather it be jealously or hate-what-you-can't-have.

•Did you like the movie more than the book?
I will have to say that I enjoyed the book a little more. However, the movie was just as good.

•What do you think is Taylor’s best scene?
My favorite scene was the kitchen right before Edward called. I'd have to agree with Victoria also with the car scene.

•Do you think Kristen evolved as an actor in this movie?
I've always been a huge fan of Kristen's, I think she did great.

- My biggest fear going into opening weekend was probably that the movie wouldn't live up to my expectations, which were quite high. Thankfully, the movie surpassed my expectations, so it was a rather unfounded fear.

- The negative reviews did surprise me a little to begin with, but I soon realised that those people were most likely not fans of the book and would therefore find quite a few things to complain about. So I am no longer surprised by the "haters" - most of the fans love it, and I think that's the most important thing. It was made for us after all.

- I did like the movie more than the book, to be honest. I found it easier to like Jacob and understand his and Bella's relationship much better than when I read the book, and I could sympathise much more easily with how painful it must have been for Jacob when Bella chose Edward over him. When reading the books, I almost always skim over the Jacob-part, because I mostly just find it a little annoying and drawn-out. But, I actually enjoyed the Jacob-part tremendously in the movie - Taylor and Kristen did an amazing job with that.

- I think it's a tie between the Bella/Jacob breakup scene and their conversation in the car right before Alice comes back and when he storms away. I though both of those scenes were really good, and Taylor portrayed Jacob perfectly.

- I think Kristen was absolutely amazing in this movie, which she always is. I don't think I'll go as far as to say that her acting has improved from Twilight - more that Chris was better at showcasing just how brilliant she really is. I love her in Twilight, but her acting skills are brought to their full potential in New Moon.
